This quilt is made using the "Ruby" fabrics line from Maywood Studio. The blocks of this quilt are pieced using alternate backgrounds. There is a single row of applique flowers, vine and leaves. The applique can be done using wool, flannel, or quilting cotton. The template for making the flowers and leaves is included. Bonnie uses the freezer paper method of applique. However, you can use whatever method is best for you. The pattern includes fabric swatch colors to aid you should you decide to change fabrics or colors.
