The featured quilt uses fabrics from "Dots & Posies", by Poppie Cotton. This pattern is fat quarter friendly and the flowers are applique. The fusible applique method was used for this pattern. However, you can use the needle turn method if you choose. The pattern includes full-size applique designs. The pattern is well written and includes color illustrations on how to construct the pieced blocks and final assembly of the quilt top. There is a nice section on how to bind a quilt, which is not always included. Several colorways are available that are suggest by the designer. However, you can select any colorway that is pleasing to you.
